Nurturing the Next Generation of Scholars
From the Fall 2024 to the Fall 2025 HBCU Tours, scholars continued to show strong enthusiasm for exploring Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The most recent data reveals that more scholars are entering the program already aware of HBCUs and expressing confidence in visiting campuses on their own, yet the tour experience still proves to be a powerful catalyst for deeper engagement. By providing firsthand exposure to campus life and meaningful interaction with college communities, the Fall 2025 tour transformed curiosity into commitment, helping scholars visualize themselves as future HBCU graduates and reinforcing the lasting impact of these journeys.
Continuing the Journey
Through direct exposure to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, scholars deepened their understanding of culture, history, and the importance of education within the Black community. They left the tour with new knowledge, stronger relationships, and renewed confidence in their potential to succeed. The reflections gathered throughout this experience affirm that the program continues to make a measurable and personal impact, helping scholars move from curiosity to conviction about their college goals.
Looking to the Future
As Sowing Seeds with Faith looks toward future tours, the organization remains committed to growth, listening to scholar feedback, and continuing to create experiences that build both academic readiness and personal purpose. The journey does not end with this tour. It continues with every scholar who steps forward ready to pursue their dreams, equipped with the structure, support, and faith that define this work.
